WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) announced that the U.S. Senate yesterday approved the nomination of Memphian V. Lynn Evans, CPA, to the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Congressman Cohen recommended Evans to President Obama for consideration. Evans will fill the position on the TVA Board currently held by Bishop William Graves who has reached the end of his second term on the Board.

States were meant to tailor their specific needs to a state-based exchange, but those who opt out will be obligated to have the federal government run an exchange for them:
