WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will receive a $410,606 grant from the National Cancer Institute for research on the biology of cancer.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today congratulated the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center for being named one of 12 in the nation selected to establish a Fisher House so that families of Veterans can be close to their loved ones during hospitalization. This follows the Congressman's statement Friday expressing his appreciation for the service of Officer Brian Sicknick, who was killed in the line of duty during Wednesday's attack by Trump loyalists.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today wrote to leaders of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters in Washington to express his concern that the proposed Byhalia Connection pipeline project plan may be granted a nationwide permit without taking into consideration its proximity to the Davis Wellfield and the potential impact it could have on the environment and our city's precious drinking water.
