MEMPHIS, TN – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today hosted a ‘Welcome Home’ reception for Army Sergeant Major Marvin Hill at his District Office. Command Sergeant Major Marvin Hill is a Memphian who recently retired from having served as Command Senior Enlisted Leader for International Security Assistance Force and United States Forces – Afghanistan. Congressman Cohen also presented Command Sergeant Major Hill with a proclamation for his service.

MEMPHIS, TN – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Memphis-area organizations have received federal investments of $4,022,791 this year for AmeriCorps and Senior Corps programs. The funds are distributed by the Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS) to increase access to early childhood education and other educational-related programs and to engage seniors in community service.

The funds will be distributed by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.
