WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), the chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, questioned Acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker at a Judiciary Committee oversight hearing today.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) recalled his congressional colleague John Dingell of Michigan, the longest serving member of Congress, who passed away Thursday at 92.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) voted today to authorize the Judiciary Committee to subpoena Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker if he fails to appear or refuses to answer questions at a scheduled oversight hearing on Friday. The committee approved a resolution to authorize the subpoena by a vote of 23 to 13.
