Bishop Patterson founded Temple Deliverance in Memphis in 1975 and twenty-five years later Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ has more than 13,000 members.
Washington, DC -- Today, the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary approved the appointment of Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) to the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law, giving the freshman Congressman one of the highest number of committee & subcommittee assignments, with two committee and six subcommittee appointments.

Now in its 10th year, the NEA’s Read Across America calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading during the birthday month of famed children’s author Dr. Seuss.
