WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Christian Brothers University will receive a $749,877 grant from the National Science Foundation to help it retain promising engineering and computer science students.

Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe examines human rights and the war in Ukraine

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), Co-Chairman of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, also known as the Helsinki Commission, today spoke at a virtual hearing of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE-PA) about his new role as the assembly’s special representative for political prisoners.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a $507,693 grant for ethanol research involving the arteries and brain from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
