WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), Co-Chairman of the Helsinki Commission, went to the floor of the House today to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He described leading last week's Helsinki Commission-sponsored fact-finding and supportive mission to Lithuania and to the Winter Meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Parliamentary Assembly in Austria, and he called out the Russia leader for the attack.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today wrote to Governor Bill Lee asking him to seek emergency assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the damage done by a major ice storm last week that still has tens of thousands without electricity.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Shelby County will receive $445,272 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Emergency Food and Shelter Program. The funding is part of a $530 million effort to address hunger paid for by both 2021 Fiscal Year appropriations and through the American Rescue Plan that Congressman Cohen voted for last March.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW) will receive $1,012,232 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for electrical distribution repairs following last April's snow and ice storm.
