WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today spoke from the House floor and then voted against a Republican-sponsored resolution to terminate the requirement established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for proof of COVID-19 vaccination for foreign travelers to the United States. The vote on passage of the resolution was 227 to 201.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), the newly appointed Ranking Member of the Aviation Subcommittee, today questioned expert witnesses at a full Transportation and Infrastructure Committee hearing on Reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration.  Congress periodically reauthorizes the FAA and other Federal civil aviation programs through an FAA reauthorization bill. The FAA was last reauthorized when Congress passed and the President signed the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today introduced the Medicare Medically Necessary Dental Care Act to secure critical dental care for the 47 percent of Medicare beneficiaries who do not currently have dental coverage.
