The letter was sent on the day the world learned of the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in a Russian prison.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, voted again tonight against sham articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Last week, Congressman Cohen voted against the same partisan measure which failed by a single vote.
The vote tonight was 214 to 213, and the measure was adopted.
