WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced three National Institutes of Health grants totaling $759,798 to Memphis institutions. The first, for $425,298, goes to the University of Memphis for research on “the role of the Infrapatellar Fat Pad in the Development of Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis Following Blunt Impact to the Knee Joint,” from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.
