WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the Shelby County Health Department will receive $11,452,467 to improve critical public health infrastructure from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Strengthening U.S. Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce and Data Systems program.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today applauded House passage of his bill to name the VA Medical Center in Memphis for the late World War II combat pilot and career air traffic controller Lieutenant Colonel Luke Weathers Jr. The measure passed on a voice vote.
