WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Shelby County will receive a $4,718,292 emergency relief grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for its Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today voted for the Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act which will lower costs by preventing oil companies from raising prices in an excessive or exploitative way. Congressman Cohen noted that the top five oil companies have announced profits of $35 billion in the past three months.
The vote on passage was 217 to 207.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) plans to vote on the Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act tonight to address the acute shortage of infant formula caused by a supply disruption in Michigan.
